Sometimes you know it is just going to be one of those days!
The day started promisingly enough – we had a vehicle to drop off at another garage and then had to pick up one of our own. We dropped the Focus off without incident and then headed off for our recovery.
A couple of weeks previously, due in part to my membership of networking group Elgar BNI and also because I believe in training staff, I had my driver assessed by Campbell from the Bill Plant Driving Academy.
It was reported that his driving was okay and that the refresher was a good move. Campbell had told him a few little things we all do wrong – basically bad driving habits.
So imagine my horror when we were involved in a minor road traffic accident. What happened? Approaching a T junction with give way signs, my driver stopped but the car behind us didn’t. Apparently we were not visible.
A fair amount of damage was inflicted to the garage recovery truck but fortunately nobody was hurt.
