At Worcester’s Mobile Mechanic we always go the extra mile to help our customers and did so once again when one of our customer’s battery went flat.
We drove to the customer’s house and checked out the car. After confirming it was just the battery that needed replacing, we fitted a new one.
While at the customer’s house we asked if they had a radio code but unfortunately this was missing. The customer was going to drive to Ford and pay them to supply the code which would have cost £35 plus VAT. It would also have taken 24 hours and required proof of ID and the V5.
For the resourceful Worcester’s Mobile Mechanic team, it was a simple case of removing the stereo and buying the code on the internet for 99p – and it arrived in three hours.
After the code arrived, we talked the customer through the process of reprogramming the stereo.
