Gambian school is work in progress

We started supporting the Lend a Hand School in The Gambia two years ago and we are pleased with how things have improved during that time.

Everything we send to the school is for the benefit of the pupils, who are all from the local area.

The school needed another teacher but there was not enough money in the kitty, which makes me realise how much we have – and take for granted – here in the UK.

The children’s parents struggle to buy them a pencil but Worcester’s Mobile Mechanic, through our relationship with a factory, has been able to supply them with pencils.

The school is a work in progress and we will continue to keep our customers and everyone who has donated items to us updated.
