Running a garage is a busy enough job in its own right. So why do I always agree when a school is getting rid of some equipment to collect the items then send them to The Gambia?
As regular readers know, Worcester’s Mobile Mechanic supports schools in The Gambia and this work is funded by donations and scrap generated from the garage.
A few hours out of my day is not a lot to give to try and improve other people’s lives. I consider myself lucky that I have the opportunity to do some good somewhere – no matter how little it actually is.
A big thank you to all our supporters including Christopher Whitehead Language College, who kindly donated some school chairs.
