Light clutch delights customer

Around three months ago, a regular customer brought his Shogun in for a service.

After I drove it, I said that I thought the clutch appeared heavy. The customer joked that I was getting old – true! – but then I’m also used to driving automatics.

We had a call from the same customer this week to say the Shogun would not move and he thought the clutch had completely gone. This was an understatement to say the least – the clutch had disintegrated and the debris also took out the starter motor.

When the customer collected the vehicle he said he had forgotten how light the clutch should have been.
