Thanks to our Bongo helpers

The left hand drive Mazda Bongo is finally ready for the long trip to The Gambia with Legs4Africa. It has been a long haul getting it to where we are now and we'd like to thank everyone who has helped us along the way.

Haydn Alarms (Somerset)

Donated a TM1 and a coolant alarm. People who are familiar with Bongos will know they are vital for this kind of trip.

Bongo Spares (Rishworth)

George and his team donated lots of parts. Without George, the Bongo would not have air conditioning for the journey across the Sahara!

Pirtek (Worcester)

Without their help the Bongo would not steer.

Big Red (Worcester)

Kindly reconditioned all the brake callipers so the Bongo now stops on a button.

Automotive Japanese Spares (Coventry)

Donated many spares from service kit to discs and pads. They also supplied suspension parts.

Japanese Auto-Locators (Inkberrow)

Donated two sets of tyres to keep the Bongo on the road.

Bromsgrove Motor Factors (Worcester)

Donated service parts and a radiator.

ACE Autos (Worcester)

Donated parts to enable us to fit the steering rack.

PSR (Huddersfield)

A specialist steering rack company that donated a steering rack.

Dynamometer World Ltd (Worcester)

Manufactured a piece needed to enable the steering to work.

Max Tracking

Supplied a tracker enabling us to chart the Bongo's progress across Europe and Africa.

And last, but not least...

Worcester's Mobile Mechanic team

Donated ideas and embraced this project with enthusiasm.
