Playing it cool
During spells of hot weather Worcester's Mobile Mechanic are inundated with air conditioning enquiries.
This condenser was on a 62 plate MINI. The customer wanted to know why the air con was not working when it was only regassed a month ago!
How it was "regassed" was a mystery as WMM found the fault immediately.
The clue is that you start the procedure as you are taught: Remove gas in the system, which in this case was zero, then carry out a visual check.
It was obvious the condenser was the place to begin. Once a new one was fitted and all the other tests were carried out, the system was filled with gas and checked.
